Swinging Shoes

For this shoe drawing I wanted to make it look like the shoes were hanging from somebodies hand. I used a piece of sting to hang the shoes against a wall and found really nice lighting so I could capture dark shadows. The shadows worked really well to make the color of the shoes pop. The original shoes were actually polka dotted, but I liked using different shades of pink and purple to make the shoes less chaotic and more fun. I really like how my drawing turned out. I think I did a nice job using the colors to make certain parts pop out. I also think the green paper looks nice with the pink shoes. If I were to do this project again I would try to not blend the pastels as much in the beginning. My blending made it hard to make defined lines in the end and makes the drawing look a little messy in person. I would totally do this again, maybe with some cool sneakers to give a different vibe. This project was really fun nd successful and I really enjoyed creating this artwork
